Frequently asked questions
Hours, delivery, Click and Collect, the game and the loyalty card. These are the things people ask us most often at the counter and on the phone.
Where is L'art Napulè and how do I get there?
L'art Napulè is on Boulevard de Clichy in Pigalle, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. The nearest metro stations are Blanche and Pigalle, both on line 2, each less than three minutes away on foot. Buses 30, 54 and 68 also stop on the boulevard, and the Moulin Rouge is a short walk from the door.
What are the opening hours?
L'art Napulè is open seven days a week, from 12:00 to 14:30 for lunch and from 18:00 to 22:30 for dinner. The restaurant closes between 14:30 and 18:00, the standard French afternoon break, so the dining room is shut during those hours. Last orders are taken thirty minutes before each service ends.
Which parts of Paris do you deliver to?
L'art Napulè delivers to three Paris postal codes, 75018, 75009 and 75017, which covers Pigalle, Montmartre, South Pigalle and Batignolles. An address outside those three postal codes cannot be validated for delivery, but it can still be ordered for Click and Collect or eaten in the dining room. Your postal code is checked in the cart, before any payment.
Is there a delivery fee and a minimum order?
Yes. Both the delivery fee and the minimum order value are set by the restaurant and can change, so they are not fixed figures. The two exact amounts appear as soon as your postal code is checked against 75018, 75009 and 75017, and they are shown again in the cart summary before you pay. A promo code discount always applies to the food total, never to the delivery fee.
How does Click and Collect work and how long does it take?
You build your order on the site, pick a collection slot from the ones offered, then pay online. The order is prepared for that slot and you are told as soon as it is ready, usually 20 to 30 minutes after you confirm. You collect at the counter by giving your order number, and the order is held for you for 30 minutes after the slot time.
How do I order from my table with the QR code?
Every table in the dining room carries a QR code. Point your phone camera at it and the menu opens with your table number already filled in, so the order goes straight to the kitchen the moment you confirm it. Depending on how the service is set that evening, you either pay online right away or settle at the counter, with no queueing either way.
What makes your pizza genuinely Neapolitan?
The dough is made with Italian type 00 flour and left to mature slowly for 48 hours, with nothing added but water, salt and yeast. It bakes for 90 seconds in a wood fired oven held at 450 degrees, which produces the puffed cornicione and the dark leopard spotting you see in Naples. The toppings start from San Marzano tomatoes and fior di latte mozzarella delivered every morning.
What is a panozzo?
A panozzo is a Neapolitan sandwich made from the same dough as the pizza, the same Italian type 00 flour matured for 48 hours. The dough is baked in the wood fired oven, then split open and filled while it is still hot, which gives a light, crisp bread instead of a baguette or a factory roll. At L'art Napulè the panozzi are filled to order and can take any of the six house sauces.
What are the six house sauces?
L'art Napulè makes six signature sauces in its own kitchen on Boulevard de Clichy, green basil pesto, red sun dried tomato pesto, truffle and parmesan cream, pistachio cream, house harissa and mango chili sauce. Any of them can be added to a pizza, a panozzo or a salad. They are also sold on their own, by the jar, to take away.
Are there vegetarian options, and where are the allergens listed?
Yes, several pizzas, panozzi and salads are vegetarian, starting with the margherita and the marinara. The fourteen allergens that must be declared under European regulation 1169/2011 are listed on every product page of the online menu, and can be asked for at the counter. The kitchen handles wheat flour, eggs, milk and nuts constantly, so call the restaurant before ordering if you have a severe allergy.
How does the QR code game work?
You scan the QR code in the shop window or on your table, leave a first name and either an email address or a phone number, then spin the wheel. Everybody wins, there is no losing segment on the wheel, and no online review is ever asked for in return. The prize arrives as a single use promo code sent by email or text, and it applies itself to your order.
Do I need an account for the loyalty card?
No. There is no account to create and no cardboard card to keep. Points are credited automatically after every paid order, whether it is delivery, Click and Collect or on site, using the phone number or email you ordered with. Once you reach the threshold, the reward is sent to you as a promo code by email or text.
What payment methods do you accept?
Online payment is by bank card through Stripe, with strong customer authentication when your bank requires it, and no card details are stored on the restaurant's servers. At the counter, both bank cards and cash are accepted. Prices are net and include service, so no service charge is added to the bill.
Do you take reservations?
No, L'art Napulè does not take reservations. Tables are given out on arrival, seven days a week, from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 18:00 to 22:30. If the dining room is full, Click and Collect lets you hold a collection slot and take your order away without waiting.
Can I get a pizza late in the evening near Pigalle?
Dinner is served from 18:00 to 22:30 every day of the week, with last orders at 22:00. The restaurant sits on Boulevard de Clichy between the Blanche and Pigalle metro stations, on the way back from the Moulin Rouge and the concert halls of the neighbourhood. After 22:30 the wood oven is out, and online ordering opens again at noon the next day.
